This policy explains how LC Property & Investments Ltd ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit this website, send us an enquiry or book a stay. We are committed to handling your data fairly and in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect and why
Enquiry form
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the property you're asking about, your preferred dates, number of guests and your message. We use this only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go on to book, to arrange your stay.
Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)).
Bookings
If you book a stay, your booking is processed through our booking system, Lodgify. We receive the details needed to manage your booking, such as your name, contact details, dates and number of guests. Payment is by bank transfer, so we also see the payment details that appear on our bank statement, such as the payer's name and the amount. We do not take card payments on this website.
Lawful basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and compliance with legal obligations such as tax and accounting records (Article 6(1)(c)).
Website analytics (only with your consent)
If you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are popular. This uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type. If you click "Reject", no analytics cookies are set.
Lawful basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
Map
The map on our property pages is provided by Google Maps and only loads if you click "Show map". When it loads, Google may collect information such as your IP address and may set cookies under its own privacy policy.

The booking and availability tools on our property pages, and the booking page you continue to, are provided by Lodgify on our behalf. Any details you enter there are handled by Lodgify for us and are covered by this privacy policy.
Who we share your data with
We only share your information with service providers who help us run the website and our bookings, and only as needed:
- Netlify: hosts this website and processes enquiry form submissions.
- Lodgify: our booking and channel management system.
- Our bank: to receive payments by bank transfer.
- Google: analytics (only with consent) and maps (only if you load the map).
- Our email provider, for replying to you.
We never sell your data. Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the USA. Where data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to a booking: up to 12 months.
- Booking records: up to 6 years after your stay, as required for tax and accounting.
- Analytics data (only if you accept analytics cookies): up to 14 months.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email lc_property@hotmail.com. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
Keeping your data safe
This website uses HTTPS encryption. We limit access to your information to the people who need it to manage your enquiry or booking.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
